  • Month End Management Accounts:
    • Reconciling budgets to the finance system
    • Preparing individual accounts with revenue recognition to posting journals
    • Managing the reconciliation process of expenses system to the cost managers
    • Assisting in preparing month end journals, accruals, prepayments
    • Assist in preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Distribution Accounting:
    • Issuing distribution sales invoices
    • Preparing and issuing 3rd party share statements

Reporting:

  • Preparing weekly cashflow information
  • Assist Senior Management Accountant with producing the monthly management accounts
  • Ad hoc data analysis reporting to Senior Management

Internal Controls, Efficiencies and Ad hoc Projects:

  • Help finance team with improvements to processes and working papers
  • Assist with year end audit requests

Experience:

  • Knowledge of accounting processes and workflows
  • Experience in accruals, prepayments
  • Currently studying towards qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Looking to develop relationships with finance and stakeholders across various departments
