This role offers a flexible working arrangement with occasional travel to client offices.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of assurance reviews, including drafting and finalising audit reports with relevant senior stakeholders, in line with the assurance plan and set timescales.
  • Ensure proper controls and processes are in place across various client functions, including housing, care, and other operational areas.
  • Conduct and report on organisation-wide spot checks to ensure compliance with key operational processes.
  • Support the Director and/or Head of Assurance in delivering an integrated assurance function through systematic and random reviews of client activities.
  • Promote a culture of openness and accountability, enabling staff and customers to challenge performance and assumptions.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in internal audit roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Advanced analytical and evaluation capabilities
  • Skilled in documenting and assessing systems, identifying areas for improvement
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
