The vacancy has arisen as a result of continued growth which shows no signs of slowing down. The role will be a stand-alone position but will be working within a broad team of colleagues.

The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide accounting support to the business in all aspects. The organisation have a firm of accountants who complete month end and year end duties, however you will be accountable for the day to day running of the companies finances.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Review sales ledger, producing reports on what money is outstanding, due for payment in the coming days.
Contacting customers who have outstanding balances enquiring about payment method and time.
Reconcile bank account against paid invoices, ensuring that the payments are allocate to the appropriate invoice/client (Sage).
Raising of client invoices and distribution.
Assist the business in producing forecast spreadsheets.
Additional tasks which may include some HR administration duties.

The Requirements
We are seeking an established and experienced accounts assistant/bookkeeper who has good working knowledge of Sage (50), and who has a good level of experience of using Excel. There are a high number of transactions that flow through the accounting function so excellent attention to detail is paramount. We are also seeking a person who has the attitude and ability to crack on and get what is required to be done, done. Our client is looking to move on the role quickly so candidates who are available at short notice or available immediately would be preferred, however our client has confirmed that they would wait for the right candidate.
