My client is a well known multi disciplinary property and construction consultancy. Due to an ever-expanding workload my client is looking to add to their successful Project Management team with the appointment of an Associate Director to their Glasgow office. Experience within Residential or Social Housing sectors would be highly advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities of the Associate Director

  • Take responsibility for project success by providing leadership and direction to the team, managing design teams, effectively communicating with all stakeholders, identifying and managing risks, planning and progress monitoring, and developing suitable project controls.
  • Leadership of tender documents, assessments, and negotiations
  • Monitoring and controlling changes / variations upon client approval
  • Managing major client accounts and generating new revenue through sustained growth and referrals, including cross-selling possibilities
  • Regular reporting to important stakeholders such as internal teams, assigned technical partners, and the client
  • Line management tasks are handled efficiently, and the project management team is effectively led.
  • Make a contribution to the strategic and operational management
  • Complete adherence to all policies, legislation, rules, and procedures

Requirements of the Associate Director

  • Full member of an appropriate professional institution (CIOB, APM, RICS)
  • Pre Contract knowledge is essential with a solid understanding of NEC
  • Track record of delivering or advising on complex construction and development works
