We are seeking an Assistant General Manager who is passionate about the hospitality industry and excels in a dynamic, service-driven atmosphere.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in overseeing the bar's operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional service standards.
- Team Leadership: Help manage and train the staff team, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the high expectations of our clientele.
- Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve any issues, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Sales and Promotion: Assist in developing strategies to drive sales and promote the bar's unique offerings.
- Compliance and Maintenance: Ensure the venue complies with all health and safety regulations and that the environment is well-maintained and inviting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end bar or restaurant.
- A strong understanding of fine wines and champagne is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
