CLASS 1 HIAB DRIVER

WORKING DAYS BETWEEN SUNDAY - SATURDAY: 07.00 - 11.00 START TIMES

£15.30 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 HIAB Driver for our client based in Glasgow.

Day to Day Duties

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles with HIAB crane attachment
  • Delivering building materials to customers' homes and construction sites
  • Operating HIAB equipment to safely load and unload goods
  • Completing vehicle checks and ensuring safety standards are met
  • Communicating with logistics teams regarding any delays

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category CE driving licence (held for a minimum of two years)
  • HIAB qualification (Lorry Loader Crane)
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to HIAB operations
  • Good communication and time management skills

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience delivering construction materials
  • Familiarity with Darnley and surrounding road networks
  • Excellent customer service skills
