Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms

Industry Sector: Bathrooms, Brassware, Furniture, Shower Doors, Baths, Radiators, Mirrors, Accessories, Showers, Taps, WC’s & Bidets, Basins, Independent Retailers, Plumbers Merchants, Buying Groups, KBB and Bathroom Industry

Area to be covered: Scotland

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 Neg. + £15,000 Commission/ Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid or electric car & benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms will involve:

  • Field sales position selling our clients mid-premium manufactured range of contemporary and traditional bathrooms (brassware, bathroom furniture and shower doors)
  • Responsible for 100-150 accounts, 40-60 key accounts
  • 65% of your time account managing independent retailers, showrooms within a buying group and plumbers merchants
  • 35% working with/ account managing a distribution partner
  • Account management led role, typically 2-5 customer visits per day, 4.5 days per week
  • Responsible for gaining commitment in respect of point of sale displays
  • Responsible for £3m ledger (tracking slightly behind budget) £1.8m via trade and retail distribution partners and £1.2m vis distribution partner
  • 50%independ retailers and plumbers merchants, 50% national account and buying group branches

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms with:

  • Field sales experience from the bathroom industry (open to KBB sector)
  • Must have sold into retail/ distribution customers
  • Contacts within independent retail showrooms, buying groups or plumbers merchants may be useful but not essential
  • Excellent relationship builder/ account management skills
  • Capable of treating the area as if it was your own franchise/ business
  • Autonomous in approach and excellent communicator
  • Good presentation skills
