Job OverviewWe are seeking experienced Business Development Managers to join our growing Field Force Team and drive revenue growth. In this exciting role, you will focus on establishing and activating vape accounts and multi-site operators (Key Accounts) nationally to accelerate and optimise our multi-category offerings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities• Strategic Growth: - Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand our customer base in the region. - Ensure optimal product placement, in-store visibility, and merchandising following brand standards. - Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle. - Setting goals for your accounts and developing strategies to meet those goals.• Client Relationships: - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities. - Retain and nurture client relationships through consistent and proactive communication. - Organise and manage promotional activities to drive sales and client engagement.• Market Analysis: - Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies. - Provide feedback on new product opportunities or necessary adjustments to the product line based on customer insights.• Collaboration:- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded. - Collaborate with retailers on planograms, shelf optimisation, and promotional displays to increase sales.- Ensure initiatives are executed according to an agreed plan.• Reporting: - Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.Key Skills• Experience and Knowledge of the Retail Environment: Understand how independent retail operates and have the ability to influence key decision-makers in a competitive and crowded marketplace. • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and educational levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with a range of individuals, both within the organization and externally.• Organisational Skills: Comfortable managing multiple clients, organising on- and off-site meetings, and achieving deadlines. Highly organised individuals are best equipped to manage the varying aspects of the job and keep client proposals and tasks on track.• Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.• Technical and Computer Skills: Proficient in key technical skills, including the use of spreadsheets.• Drive and Self-Motivation: Goal-oriented and target-driven. Possess the motivation necessary to push yourself toward success.• Confidence in Presenting: Able to present to retail owners confidently and effectively convey data to secure listings or obtain store space.• Strong Resilience and Desire for Continuous Improvement: Capable of thriving in a changing environment and seeking ongoing improvements.• Ability to Build Collaborative Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships both internally and externally.• Problem Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly and solve problems effectively.

Qualifications: • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail sales, ideally within field sales and with specific experience in the convenience and/or vape category.• A full UK driving license is required for this role with a maximum of 6 penalty points. • Job type: Full-time, Permanent. Work Location: Field based in an agreed territory with travel to head office in Blackburn as and when required.Salary: Starting salary range from £31,000 - £34,000 per annumAdditional pay: Multiple bonus schemes available.Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays.
