Electrical Project Manager - Glasgow

First People Solutions are delighted to be working on behalf of a respected and innovative M&E Contractor based in Glasgow, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile M&E Contracts and make a tangible impact, this is the role for you.







Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from initial planning to project handover, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, budget, and on time.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and high standards of delivery.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources, identifying any risks or delays and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and on-site staff, ensuring all safety, quality, and regulatory standards are adhered to.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further business development.


About You:

  • Strong background in Project Management with significant experience in managing large scale electrical projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering electrical projects, ideally within the commercial, industrial, or construction sectors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree, or PMP/APM certifications) are preferred.
