Construction Mechanical Project Manager - Glasgow

First People Solutions are excited to be partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking M&E contractor based in Glasgow, who work on various construction and fit out projects and are looking to recruit a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company that specializes in delivering high-quality M&E solutions across a range of sectors including working on new build schools, retail projects and various commercial builds.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of mechanical projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure effective management of all aspects of the project.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and site staff, ensuring all project activities comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficient project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients.


About You:

  • A strong background in Project Management with an M&E contractor - (Construction & Fit out)
  • Experience in managing medium to large-scale mechanical projects, ideally within sectors such as commercial, industrial, or construction.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or project management (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree, or PMP/APM certifications) are preferred.
