Senior Signalling Technician - The salary is £30,459 with a roster premium of 35% - £41,119.65, permanent position, location, Glasgow (required to work at different sites), hours are 140 hours over 4 weeks (4-week roster). Will have to work nights and weekends (2 weekends out of 4).

Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Signalling Team Leader in carrying out signalling or other associated works as directed in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Responsible for assisting the Signalling Team Leader in all duties, including, but not limited to, signalling disconnections/reconnections, SMTH testing, ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Undertake COSS duties as required.
  • Use power tools and portable plant where certified to do so

Required experience:

  • Must have rail signalling experience
  • 2 years' work experience or previous background working with either electrical or mechanical equipment.
  • Must have PTS, COSS and SMTH
  • Must have a full UK driving licence in order to travel to different sites
