Job Title: Pipefitter (Shipbuilding)

Location: Govan & Scotstoun - Glasgow

Salary: £37,318 (Shift allowance of 33% (£49,632) for Back, Night & Weekend shifts)

Overtime Rates: Mon - Thurs: Time and a third Friday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, double time from then on Saturday: Time and a half Sunday: Double time

Shift Patterns:

Mon - Thurs

Day Shift: 07:00 - 16:30

Back Shift: 14:00 - 23:30

Night Shift 20:30 - 06:00

Fri - Sun

Weekend: 07:00 - 19:30

Essential Experience:

  • Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
  • Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment
  • Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height

My client is a global defence leader, looking for a Pipefitter to fabricate and install pipework systems and utilities, with the aim of delivering the very best product possible to our customers. You will be working to engineering standards, striving for quality right first time.
