Meraki Talent are supporting a Glasgow based client, who are seeking an Assistant Manager to join an expanding function.This is a dynamic team, which encompasses Fund Accounting (Investment & Private Capital), Investment Analytics, Data Services, and Corporate Trust Operations.  The expanding team acts as the guardian of private capital funds, delivering comprehensive fund valuation and accounting services while ensuring full compliance with fund documentation, legal, regulatory, and client SLA requirements.Meraki Talent are keen to speak with experienced and motivated Fund Accounting Managers, who are looking to oversee a team of Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accountants.  As part of this role you will be responsible for managing the provision of fund valuation and accounting services to Private Capital funds, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional client service delivery.Key Duties;
  • People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, manage appraisals, address performance issues, and provide career support.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee fund accounting deliverables, including financial statement preparation, valuations, reconciliations, drawdowns, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • Client Focus: Maintain strong client relationships, ensure adherence to SLAs, and provide timely solutions to client queries.
  • Risk and Control: Improve team processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk, while ensuring compliance with controls, procedures, and training requirements.
  • Leadership: Act as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal teams, while stepping in as a delegate for the Manager when required.
