We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Interim Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to join our finance team and help manage the day-to-day operations of the AP function during an exciting period of growth and transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end AP close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial records are accurate.
- Review and approve payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle supplier queries and resolve any disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to the AP team, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Assist in the preparation of audits and any other ad-hoc financial reporting as required.
- Monitor AP KPIs and implement improvements where necessary.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in managing an Accounts Payable function, preferably at a managerial level.
- Strong understanding of AP processes and systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is desirable.
