Financial Accounting Manager

Lusona Consultancy have an excellent opportunity to join our global service sector client based in Glasgow City Centre, as a Financial Accounting Manager. Sitting within the wider finance team, you will report to the senior manager, where you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting processes regarding remuneration across the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Completing monthly reporting for specific areas of the business
  • Supervising the annual distribution of payments and capital contribution, alongside tracking any interest.
  • Preparing annual remuneration and capital notices.
  • Preparing the annual distribution and annual profit statements for the business.
  • Supporting the senior manager with annual profit allocation and corresponding clearing processes.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the auditors in relation to remuneration.
  • Liaising with various teams across the business for necessary information
  • Providing ad hoc reports as requested.

Applicants will be experienced qualified accountants with a strong management accounting background. Ideally you will have experience of operating within a multi-currency global organisation. It is also advantageous to have experience working within a professional services environment. As such you will have excellent Microsoft Excel skills to manage large volumes of data as well as strong communication skills to collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business.
