Role: Group Payroll Manager

Salary: £35,000+ DOE

Location: Glasgow City Centre (hybrid)

You will have responsibility for delivering an excellent employee payroll experience across six monthly payrolls. Working alongside a strong and experienced finance and HR team, there will be numerous opportunities to enhance system integrations, maintain accuracy and efficiencies and migrate new payrolls into the group, as it grows.

This opportunity requires a confident payroll professional to work in cross-collaboration with different departments, gaining exposure to unique payroll nuances specific to the exciting industry of this Group.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with group payroll or payroll bureau experience who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end processing of Group monthly payroll including pensions uploads, payroll journals and all HMRC requirements
  • Administration related to employee payroll benefits including health cash plan and P11D's
  • Assisting senior stakeholders with queries, reporting and calculations
  • Ensuring full security of the payroll and compliance, reviewing and improving processes where and when required
  • Handling payroll, benefits and HR queries across the Group
  • Working closely with HR to ensure full functionality of a newly integrated holiday system

Experience:

  • Ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines
  • Consolidated experience processing complex payrolls
  • Confident managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proactive and collegiate in approach with strong attentions to detail
