Are you a HR Manager with healthcare experience looking for your next challenge?

Our client is an established dental group in Scotland, who have seen great growth over recent years and are now looking for a HR manager to join the team.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team leading on all aspects of HR. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about HR to strengthen and support the people function of a leading dental group in Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated into the organization effectively.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including holidays, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Support employee relations issues, utilising the external outsourced HR Advisors to support help the management team resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Build further competency in managing ER through training and education
  • Implement performance management systems to track employee performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation using the current HR system.
  • Partner with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management, legislative changes and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the employee handbook
  • Assist in the development of our e-learning platform to improve performance, understanding and competency of all team members throughout the group
  • Assist in the creation of digital learning solutions
  • Take ownership for the development of our training content

Requirements:

  • Have proven experience within a similar role within a dental or healthcare environment
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a HR function
  • An enthusiasm to strengthen and develop people function
  • Have a good understanding of HR processes and GDPR regulations
  • Comfortable working in a fact paced and changing environment
  • Have a flexible and professional approach to work with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal data
