We are seeking an HR Advisor to provide expert guidance in employee relations and HR practices, to join our global team based in Glasgow. This role focuses on supporting the full employee's lifecycle, managers, and the wider business to achieve optimal outcomes, balancing employee wellbeing with commercial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR activities for the local business area.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and create targeted HR strategies.
  • Analyse people data to identify trends and develop solutions.
  • Provide practical advice on employee relations, including grievance, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Coach line managers to enhance team support and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
  • Champion the automation and streamlining of HR practices.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, policies, and cyclical reviews.
  • Maintain open communication channels for advice and problem-solving.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, diversity, and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally CIPD or an HR-related qualification).
  • 2 years of HR experience gained in a busy HR environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
