I am currently recruiting for a temporary HR Casework Officer to provide expert guidance on HR casework, with an immediate start. You will be experienced in supporting both managers and employees through complex HR matters, particularly in performance management and disciplinary processes. The salary for this opportunity will be circa £39,000. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, and this role will offer hybrid working for the suitable candidate. This contract will start immediately and last a minimum of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing complex performance and disciplinary cases
  • Conduct thorough investigations into disciplinary issues, including gathering evidence, interviewing and preparing detailed reports
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on investigation outcomes
  • Ensure all performance plans comply with the companies policies, employment laws, and best practices
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records related to performance and disciplinary casework activities
  • Support with the integration of cases and files onto a new HR management system

The suitable candidate will have:

  • CIPD Qualification (Desirable)
  • Employee Relations case work experience
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies and employment law
  • Proven IT literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with managers and employees at all levels
  • A good team player, able to maintain confidentiality
