Payroll Specialist 3-Month Contract (Temporary)£18.83 per hour 35 hours per weekAgile Home-Based - Glasgow Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 3-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of £18.83. This is an agile home-based role; however, initial office-based training will be required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process payroll and manually calculate complex payroll scenarios
  • Ensure compliance with statutory payments and deductions
  • Collate, analyse, and report payroll data effectively
  • Work efficiently under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Manage Group Pension Schemes and update various management systems
  • Build and provide quality reports for the Group
  • Represent GHA at Strathclyde Pension Fund Forums
  • Ensure appropriate coding structures are maintained and all costs are correctly coded against Group cost centres and project codes
  • Provide advice, support, guidance and training on all Payroll policies and processes
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Strong payroll knowledge, including manual calculations
  • Extensive understanding of statutory payments and deductions
  • Experience handling payroll data and reporting
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
