As a Timber Mill Supervisor, you will assist the Mill Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the shop floor. Your responsibilities will include monitoring employee performance, providing support and guidance, offering training on machinery and moulders, ensuring quality control, and reporting any machinery issues to management. You will also be following health and safety procedures while occasionally assisting machine operators with hands-on duties.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with no evenings or weekendsperfect for work-life balance!
Timber Mill Supervisor Requirements:
- Supervisory experience in the timber industry
- Working knowledge of various wood machinery
- Experience producing quality hardwood/softwood mouldings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and have an adaptable approach
Timber Mill Supervisor Benefits:
