Overview:
Morson are currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to join a successful team based in Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a first-of-its-kind project in the UK, focusing on the defueling and decommissioning of AGR nuclear power stations. This site-based role offers dynamic and hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Involvement: Play a crucial role in the defueling and decommissioning of AGR nuclear power stations, a groundbreaking endeavor in the UK.
Earned Value Management: Utilize your expertise in Earned Value Analysis/Management (EVA/EVM) to monitor and control project performance across its lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation/Commissioning processes.
Data Analysis: Apply your high level of numeracy and analytical skills to ensure accurate cost management and forecasting throughout the project.
Safety & Sustainability: Lead by example in prioritizing safety, health, and environmental sustainability in all project activities.
Customer Focus: Commit to delivering excellence by understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.

Role Requirements:
EVA/EVM Experience: Proven experience in Earned Value Analysis/Management.
Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with experience across the project and program lifecycle.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for CTC level Security Clearance, which requires at least three years of residency in the UK.
