Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Business Controller/Management Accountant for an aircraft manufacturing organization based in Filton.
The position offers an initial contract until the end of the year, with a salary of £40 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35).
Candidates should have either CIMA qualification or at least 5 years of experience in a Finance Business Partnering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include supporting budget processes, financial controlling activities, and driving improvement measures on various financial topics.
The role allows for two days a week of remote work after familiarization and requires the ability to obtain BPSS clearance.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS CONTROLLER/ MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT TO JOIN AN AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURING ORGANISATION

Based in Filotn
2 day a week from home after familarisation
Initial contract until the end of year
£40ph via Umbrella (Inside IR35)
35 hour working week
BPSS Clearance sponsored by the client

WHAT WILL THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT BE DOING?

The role will involve supporting the central control team in driving the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units, as well as getting involved in projects that will help us make processes leaner. Some other responsibilities include:

Financial controlling activities such as Recurring cost, inventory and Capex tools
Assessing business cases for operational investments
Advise management in achieving their targets
Driving improvement measures on a variety of financial topics
Validating relevant financial information such as ROI for decision making
Liaising with stakeholders and business units

WE NEED THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT TO HAVE…

CIMA Qualified or 5+ years experince in a Finance Business Partnering role
Ideally experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SAP
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Experience working on continuous improvement projects
Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
