We are currently seeking an interim Document Controller to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for iconic brands such as Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto, and Solero, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG ice cream manufacturing environment.
The position is based at Barnwood, Gloucester. This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility between core hours of 6am - 6pm. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £29,600 - £37,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
We require a Document controller to support in organising and updating our documentation and systems for our safety critical equipment.
We require somebody who is an effective communicator, and process and understand technical documentation and has great organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the legislative register and associated documents for our safety critical systems
- Generate electronic copies of paper based records
- Maintain the electronic filing structure for documentations
- Receive any new project documentation and ensure it is filed in accordance with other site documentation
- Review current safety system design documentation with the site technical team
Key Requirements
- Prior experience in working in technical documentation administration roles
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS office
- Attention to detail for checking documents before issuing
