Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and confident Home Manager to lead our specialist 22-bed dementia-focused residential care home. The successful candidate will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with CQC standards and managing a skilled care team.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all residents.

Oversee and promote person-centred care planning and delivery that respects the individual needs and dignity of all residents.

Manage, support, and mentor staff teams, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies, conducting regular audits and implementing improvement plans as needed.

Work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies to build strong partnerships and ensure continuity of care.

Monitor and manage the home's budget and resources effectively to maintain financial viability without compromising quality.

Take responsibility for safeguarding and ensure that all procedures are followed correctly to protect residents from harm.

Ensure all records, incident reports, and care plans are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Lead by example, creating a positive and inclusive working culture that promotes wellbeing, teamwork, and professional development.
Requirements:

Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or working towards).

Desirable: Previous experience managing a dementia-focused residential care home.

A sound understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding practices, and current legislation.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
