We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to provide comprehensive legal services in areas including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and capacity issues such as deputyship. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in Private Client Law, looking to contribute to the growth and coordination of our client's private client team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct initial consultations and client initial advice as required.
  • Prepare Wills and advise on Trusts, capacity issues, and Inheritance Tax.
  • Handle Lasting Powers of Attorney applications and registrations.
  • Provide advice on probate matters and deputyships, including the preparation of appropriate Trust Documents.
  • Manage ongoing cases effectively, ensuring all client work is completed to high standards.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities to generate workflows.
  • Review and manage Work in Progress (WIP) and client financing for ongoing matters.
  • Maintain well-organised and updated files in accordance with firm policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Likely to have few years experience or PQE or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in Private Client Law, particularly in Wills, Probate, Trusts, and capacity issues.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage personal workload and priorities.
  • Excellent administration skills and proficiency in using multiple systems for data collation and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
