We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to provide comprehensive legal services in areas including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and capacity issues such as deputyship. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in Private Client Law, looking to contribute to the growth and coordination of our client's private client team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct initial consultations and client initial advice as required.
- Prepare Wills and advise on Trusts, capacity issues, and Inheritance Tax.
- Handle Lasting Powers of Attorney applications and registrations.
- Provide advice on probate matters and deputyships, including the preparation of appropriate Trust Documents.
- Manage ongoing cases effectively, ensuring all client work is completed to high standards.
- Participate in networking and business development activities to generate workflows.
- Review and manage Work in Progress (WIP) and client financing for ongoing matters.
- Maintain well-organised and updated files in accordance with firm policies.
- Likely to have few years experience or PQE or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in Private Client Law, particularly in Wills, Probate, Trusts, and capacity issues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage personal workload and priorities.
- Excellent administration skills and proficiency in using multiple systems for data collation and analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
