The Role

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will:

  • Support fee earners with a diverse residential property caseload, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, conducting searches, and preparing reports.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven experience assisting with a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be proactive, highly organised, and capable of managing workloads efficiently.
  • Have experience using case management systems and online portals for SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
