We are looking for a hands on Transport Controller, you'll own the transport and business insight for the operation travelling between multiple other sites & locations. Planning & logistics management in advance & on during transit.Working on site on a day shift rotation (Can be discussed & example plan shared) On call/operational coverage requirement 24/7.Responsibilities:
  • Effective scheduling of vehicles & staff, for all deliveries & returns - in line with the contracted service delivery requirements.
  • Appropriate resource management including; fleet management & staffing levels.
  • All actions & communications must support staff & business requirements 
  • Ability to resolve problems and issues as a result of transportation issues in a quick & timely manner.
  • Ability to identify & escalate any potential incidents for the operation.
  • To create a positive working environment dealing effectively with any & all transportation issues & problems, providing support when required.
  • Responsible for communicating accurate information to staff & peers
Required:
  • Previous experience within logistics, planning, coordination or controller role.
  • Any successful new member of the team will be required to pass a full security and vetting clearance process.
