Supported Housing Officer Required

Location:               South Gloucester

Venn Group are looking for an Supported Housing Officer to work for a Housing Association in South Gloucester

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with service users, maintaining regular contact and facilitating a co-produced planned program of support
  • Assist with identifying and accessing appropriate move on accommodation
  • Monitor and manage rent accounts, ensuring arrears are addressed in line with organisational procedure
  • Participate in undertaking health and safety checks and inspections
  • Providing Tenancy support
  • Work in partnership with external agencies to facilitate the effective delivery of support
  • Deliver welfare benefits and budgeting advice to ensure service user income is maximised and financial resilience and capacity increased

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Driving Licence
  • Experience working with complex needs
  • Experience and understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion for vulnerable parents
  • Happy to do lone working on occasions
