Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?Would you like to gain valuable experience working with children who have complex learning disabilities?

A primary school in South Gloucestershire has recently opened a dedicated resource unit for children with SEN and is looking for a Psychology, Criminology, or similar degree graduate to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing support to children with complex needs, autism, and learning disabilities. Candidates with prior experience in SEN roles will also be considered.

The school caters to children aged 3 to 11 and requires a consistent, nurturing presence to ensure they receive the highest standard of care and child-focused support. While experience in a similar setting is advantageous, it is not essential. Graduates in fields such as Psychology, Criminology, or related areas are encouraged to apply. You will be working in a small class of 12 children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychologists, teachers, and support staff.
