About the School – SENCO – Bristol, South Gloucestershire

 

The school is housed in a purpose built, brand new, state of the art building. The school caters primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs but also for children with autism who have moderate learning needs There are up to 50 children aged 8 to 16. The school aims to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience The school offers all staff lots of support to succeed. The school also offers in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals  

 

About the Role – SENCO – Bristol, South Gloucestershire

 

  • You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem You will need to be resilient and dedicated This school is looking for an experienced SENCO. The relevant qualifications are ideal but not essential. You must have recent experience as a SENCO in either a primary or secondary school or SEN school.

There may be an opportunity for a TLR post passing probation which can be discussed at a later stage Full training will be offered You will receive full school holidays
