Head of Commercial - Godalming, Surrey

£50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits

We are recruiting for a highly impactful and inclusive Charity who are looking for a Head of Commercial to join their team on a hybrid basis. The Head of Commercial will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy as part of a team. Key focuses will be on optimising profitability focussing on margins and operations to help secure financial sustainability for the Charity.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a senior commercial leadership role and have high levels of experience in of financial management and commercial understanding. Food gifting industry and retail specific knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the performance of commercial activities through data analysis.
  • Provide financial management & analysis, setting financial targets and ensuring business operations remain within budgets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business plans on commercial opportunities and understand future threats.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders to understand the needs of current customers and to devise and implement customer acquisition strategies.
  • Monitoring the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and reporting back to the senior management team’
  • Budgeting with team, supporting industry resourcing and KPI performance measurement.
  • Leading sales direction and providing motivation and support to the Sales Team.
  • Leading development of contracts & agreements with business partners.
