Position: Unit Manager (RGN)
Location: Gravesend
Salary: £23.69 per hour / £49,000 - £55,000 per Annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM 5 PM (40 hours per week)
Additional Hours: Option to pick up extra shifts
Occasional Weekends Required
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RGN) to join our reputable nursing home. This role offers an excellent salary, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to lead and manage a unit of 29 33 beds effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.
Supervise and support nursing and care staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and clinical governance frameworks.
Develop care plans, conduct assessments, and ensure the individual needs of residents are met.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and their families to ensure quality care and support.
Assist in staff training, development, and performance management.
Requirements:
Qualified Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.
Strong leadership and management skills within a care setting.
Excellent clinical knowledge and experience in elderly or nursing care.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekends.
Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
