Leasehold and Right to Buy Manager

MC Personnel is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Leasehold and Right to Buy Manager to join our esteemed client in Gravesend. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the Council’s representative for Leasehold Services and the Government’s Right to Buy scheme. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering a high-quality leasehold management service and managing all Right to Buy matters, including Right to Buy Back initiatives on behalf of the authority. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the Council’s services to leaseholders and freeholders are executed effectively and efficiently, while also focusing on maximizing income through diligent monitoring of leasehold service charges and Right to Buy property sales. In addition, you will take charge of managing a Leasehold Services Assistant to further enhance service delivery.

Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Leasehold legislation.
  • Excellent knowledge of housing legislation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Right to Buy legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willingness to attend evening meetings on occasion.
  • Flexible working hours, including occasional out-of-hours commitment as needed.
  • Full clean driving license.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong decision-making skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
  • Proficient IT skills, familiar with current information technology applications in housing management.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, presentation, and report writing skills.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
Hours:

Your working hours will be as follows: Monday and Friday from 08:45 am to 5:00 pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 08:45 am to 5:15 pm. This role offers flexible hybrid working, allowing you to work three days in the office and two days from home.
