Workshop Technician

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients who are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, temporary basis.

Immediate start available.

Role Summary:

Performing general production duties including but not limited to fitting/general assembly of a variety of standard and bespoke engineered products in accordance with relevant Technical and Quality documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

• General assembly.
• Mechanical assembly.
• Material preparation.
• Manual Handling.
• Comply with all Health and Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.

Skills and experience:

• Able to understand assembly diagrams and instructions.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks.
• The ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• A qualification in engineering would be beneficial.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 39 hours a week
