We’re looking for a WarehouseTeam Leader, to be based at our Greene King site in Greenford, London where you will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures, whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days from 7, between the hours of 16:00 – 00:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements and customer priorities
  • Communicate to shift team on daily tasks, changes to working procedures, H&S, audit etc
  • Complete shift handovers accurately with oncoming/off-going Team Leaders / Shift Manager
  • Updates team on required targets/rates, and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback to colleagues, taking action on poor performance where required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multichannel
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
  • Previous experience working within a temperature-controlled environment would be an advantage
