I am working with a small SEMH school catering for students aged 10-16 who are seeking a Sports Assistant to join with them to support the PE Departmentin delivering high-quality sports education and promoting physical fitness among the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist PE teachers in planning and conducting sports lessons and activities

Supervise students during sports activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment

Help organise school sports events and competitions

Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities

Encourage and motivate students to participate in physical activities

Key Requirements:

Passion for sports and physical education

English and Mathematics at GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent

Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs
