PROPERTY MANAGER - GUILDFORD - UP TO £35K BASIC DOE +BONUS +PARKING

HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

This is a Fantastic opportunity to join a successful independent Lettings Agent in Guildford. This company has a reputation for continuity, integrity and service that is second to none. They mainly deal in upmarket rental properties, but are looking to attract someone with experience dealing with all levels of the marketplace. This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic team and contribute to exciting growth plans.

The role:

  • Maintaining regular communications with landlords and tenants
  • Ensuring all properties in the portfolio are fully compliant with industry regulations, e.g. arranging safety certificates
  • Arranging any repairs and / or maintenance to ensure properties are kept at a high standard
  • Conducting property inspections
  • Pre-tenancy and renewals administration
  • Processing and guiding both parties through the end-of-tenancy process
  • Liaison and management of contractors
  • Providing exceptional client service

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years experience in a Property Management role, ideally with an independent business
  • A flair for communication, with strong verbal and written skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to resolve issues, and to be empathetic and assertive when required
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A robust background in lettings legislation and compliance
  • A resilient and commercial attitude with a comprehensive understanding of the lettings business as a whole
  • Being ARLA qualified would be a strong advantage
  • A bonus would be some experience in translating your people skills to register and look after lettings applicants as and when the office workload demands

  • ARLA qualified desirable, but not essential
