This Café Manager position offers excellent working hours of mainly Monday to Friday, daytimes, plus a great benefits package.

Hours:
*37.5 per week
*Mainly daytimes (with very occasional evening work)
*Monday to Friday (with some Saturdays)
Key responsibilities:
*Responsible for the daytime café offer of food and drink which will be delivered in collaboration with all departments of the business
*To liaise with the Head of Marketing to take up opportunities for collaborative work.
*To lead on Café provision, menu planning, social event planning.
*To ensure best working practices of the café and that the café is compliant with all H&S and Food Hygiene regulations.
*To ensure that the cafe is run within budget
*Scheduling of staff. Support regular 1:1s and a structured appraisal system, understanding and recognising their development wants and needs to ensure the success of their progression within the organisation.
*Responsible for the planning and implementation of the daytime, evening and weekend activities/events.
Essential Requirements and Qualities:
*Willing to undergo DBS Check
*Team leading & catering Experience
*Proficient in I.T with excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Positive attitude and the desire to develop and showcase the skills of the people we support
*Strong communicator and ability to maintain a motivated team.
*Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including volunteers
*Creative vision and flair, combined with organizational skills
*Ability to problem solve and implement measures for continuous improvement
*Ability to work to budget and maintain accurate records
