THE ROLE
You will play a key role in providing flexible housing-related support to enable service users to develop essential life skills and transition into independent accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and allocate housing for new tenants following procedures.
  • Provide tenants with advice and information to help them maintain their tenancy.
  • Conduct room checks and follow housekeeping procedures to minimize vacancies.
  • Ensure tenancies are upheld and support residents in meeting their obligations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and coordinate with external agencies when needed.
  • Encourage resident participation and provide advice on decision-making.
  • Perform health and safety checks and manage building facilities.


THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking individuals with the right attitude and transferable skills to make a real impact in this role. Previous experience in a similar sector is not essential, but you should have the following:

  • Experience working in customer-facing roles, supporting diverse client groups.
  • Motivation and communication skills to engage and support vulnerable people.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car insured for business use.
  • Flexibility to work across similar services within a reasonable distance from your main base.


THE CONTRACT

  • 35 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:00 (On-call rota, phone only, unless emergency).
  • 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a secondment, with the potential to become permanent.
  • Pay range: 16.50 to 19.97 per hour LTD, 14.07 to 17.02 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday).
