Admin Assistant - Permanent - Fully on-site in Guildford - circa £25,000

I am looking to recruit for an Admin Assistant to join a global organisation at their UK Headquarters in Guildford supporitng the HR Manager so you will get expeosure to HR and help with the day to day running within the Operations Team.

The role will require someone who is flexible in their approach as you will wear many hats as they are on an upward growth curve and will give you your own growth path. This will make the role more varied and hopefully more interesting as you add strings to your bow.

Job description

  • Keep the office running smoothly by managing inventory and ensuring supplies are always stocked.
  • Assist in troubleshooting IT issues and liaise with our external IT support.
  • Manage important documents like vehicle fleet records, business mobiles and office equipment.
  • Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
  • Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
  • Supporting staff in other departments, e.g. Finance, Marketing SC&P and Sales Department
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
  • Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Conduct inductions to newly hired employees
