HEAD OF FINANCE - HADLEIGH, SUFFOLK - COMPETITIVE SALARY - GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES & EXCITING BRAND

A Manufacturing client of ours in the Hadleigh area are recruiting a Head of Finance to join their team. This is an excellent role with grown opportunities in future. Full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 35-hour week and paying a competitive salary!

Reporting into the MD and managing a finance team of 2, your role will involve managing all aspects of financial control, reporting, and strategy to support the group's financial growth and development.

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Strategy: Advise on financial strategy, support the Managing Director, and contribute to business objectives.
• Accounting & Budgets: Ensure cash flow, manage overall budgets, individual budgets for departments, and maintain accurate forecasting.
• Management Information: Deliver timely, insightful management information, including management accounts, budgets and forecasts, and relevant indicators of business performance (KPIs).
• Systems & Compliance: Continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee cost control.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and service providers.
• People Management: Lead, develop, and support the finance team of 2 while fostering a positive company culture.
• General Duties: Uphold company values, comply with health & safety regulations, and support continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• ACCA or CIMA Qualifications
• 5+ Years experience working within a Head of Finance, Finance Director, Financial Controller or Finance Manager level role
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management skills.
• Ambitious individual with strong leadership skills
• IT proficiency (Excel, Word, and accounting systems)
• FMCG, or Manufacturing and Production experience essential to be considered
• Desirable: Global financial management and DocuWare knowledge
