We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join the team, working with 5 young people with learning disabilities, ASD, and complex needs. Your role will involve assisting residents along their care pathways, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Location: Hailsham
Pay: 12.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Support Worker's Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support to individuals with autism and complex needs
  • Observe, monitor, and document residents' progress with care and dignity
  • Encourage and assist residents in developing independent living skills
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team


Support Worker's Requirements:

  • A strong desire to create positive outcomes for children and young adults with learning disabilities
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient approach
  • At least 6 months of experience in a UK social care setting
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A valid driving license and access to a car (essential due to rural location)
