Job Title: Process Metallurgist

Location: Halesowen

Pay Rates: 35,000 - 40,000 Dependent on experience

Shift Patterns: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00 & Friday 07:30-15:30 (can be flexible)

Oliver Rae is recruiting for an experienced Process Metallurgist within the manufacturing and engineering industry. Our client supplies high quality engineered products to the oil and gas, aerospace, rail and nuclear industries.

Responsibilities:

Process control - investigate test failures and produce rework plans

Monitor failure trends and identify actions

Perform technical reviews

Provide technical support to customers/other departments

Carry out metallography for routine testing and failure investigations

Adhere to Health and safety regulations

Support and assist the quality department - SOP'S/NCR'S.

Qualification/experience:

Qualification in materials engineering/metallurgical or equivalent.
