Job Role: Resourcer

Reports to: Head of Group Skills

Location: Skills, Birmingham

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, (8.30am - 17.00pm)

Introduction & Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resourcer looking to take their next step and join the team at Challenge trg Skills.

It will be your responsibility to manage the complete learner experience from training course expression through to course booking and confirmation, ensuring conversation ratios are maintained. You'll need to make sure the client's needs are met at all times.

Duties

  • The role will involve making and receiving a high volume of candidate calls, so a confident and professional phone manner is essential.
  • Screening candidates for various government funded training courses that in many cases have a job interview attached.
  • Responding to enquiries promptly by telephone and email providing information to prospective learners.
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing and assessing prospective learners to determine if they are suitable against the course eligibility criteria.
  • General admin duties associated with screening and booking learners for training courses.
  • Knowledge of software packages that include excel, outlook, in house candidate record systems, screening applicants that have applied via numerous job boards and social media sites.
  • The job role can be reactive, so a steady head and organisational skills are desirable.
  • Advertise jobs on various job boards.
  • Work towards KPI on the number of learners booked for course and attendance.
  • Use our candidate database to feedback where a learner is in the process, screened, booked for training, attended or course completed.
  • Provide potential learners with information on the benefits of completing a course in comparison to normal application processes to encourage learners to attend the training courses.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your day-to-day tasks would be beneficial with this role.
  • You will work within the Skills team and 1 senior Resourcer and another resourcer.

  • Self-motivated, ambitious and target driven.
  • Able to work in a high-pressured environment.
  • A "people person" who enjoys meeting, advising and guiding people on their careers
