We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants in the Birmingham area.

We focus on permanent, long-term job opportunities, often leading to a permanent contract being offered. Working hours are 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday.

We have a range of positions starting immediately with interviews/trials presently ongoing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
  • Provide regular sensory breaks when pupils become dysregulated.
  • Support students in their academic, social and emotional development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with the students.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.
  • A DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).

We do accept applicants with a background in youth work, family support work, children's residential support work or recent graduates with childcare experience.
