CNC Miller - Halstead - 17ph + shift allowance

A building manufacturer, who produce a variety of products for different types of businesses are looking for a CNC miller to join them on an initial 6 month role with potential for permanent after depending on internal changes.

Working hours will be starting on the late shift of 14:00-23:00 Monday to Thursday at 14:00-18:00 on a Friday. Starting salary will be circa 17ph based on previous experience, plus shift premium and early Friday finish!

You'll be rewarded with shift allowance and 25 days holiday, as well as free parking and an employee assistance program. If you are available immediately please apply today.

You will need to have experience setting and operating on milling machines, with any controls, as training will be provided. There will be a variety of materials involved due to the nature of the company such as cast iron and others.

What You'll Do:

  • Setting up CNC mills and making sure everything's running correctly
  • Adjusting machine settings
  • Checking parts for quality
  • Keeping records of what's been done

What Experience You'll Need:

  • Setting and Operating experience is essential for this role
  • Be able to work on 5 axis machines ideally
  • Work from engineering drawings
  • Be comfortable working with a variety of materials
  • Milling experience
