- Daily bookkeeping: importing sales data, posting bank transactions, supplier invoices and payments, and credit control.
- Managing multi-currency transactions.
- Preparing management accounts for multiple companies within the group.
- Handling company expenses.
- Analyzing and reporting on sales and expenditure data.
- Overseeing monthly payroll, annual P11Ds, dividends, and year-end processes.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns for the UK, various EU countries (including IOSS), and UAE.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and managing intercompany transactions.
- Liaising with external accountants in the UK and Spain for account preparation.
- Managing ad hoc general administration tasks, including Companies House filings, company cars, HR, and insurance.
- Proven experience within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including cost control, financial planning, and accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly to various audiences.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll and Accounts software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Pay: £40,000.00–£50,000.00 per year
