This creative and inclusive primary school based in Harlow, Essex are looking for a confident, ambitious and outgoing Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs in October2024 on a long term basis until September 2025.

You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists, and inclusion staff as a Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant. You will help to manage the classroom environment, create exciting activities and delivering tailored programmes to pupils using the extensive resources available at the school.

The ideal candidate for this role would be a graduate in either Linguistics, British Sign Language, SEND or Speech and Language that are searching for the perfect role to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about SEND who is looking to work alongside skilled and experienced professionals.

About the Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant** Support students with SEND needs such as non verbal ASD, Speech and Language Delay, Global Delay, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.** Hold 1:1, group and general classroom support when required by the class teacher.** Ensure student behaviour is kept in alignment with the school's behaviour policy.** Use of your creative and ambitious personality to keep students engaged, interacted and excited.
