Retail Travel Sales Manager

With their recent move from an office style location to a High Street Retail shop, they are now looking for an exceptional individual to drive sales performance and motivate their experienced collaborative team.

Are you an experienced travel manager or are you looking to step up into a challenging new role and take the next step in your travel career? If so then read on...

This is a full time office based position, working Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. The team work Saturdays on rotation 10am-2pm.

A competitive basic salary of up to 30k is on offer, as well as uncapped bonus potential.

Requirements of the role:

  • You will have great leadership skills and experience of working in a small team, leading by example.
  • You will have the ability to manage diverse personalities.
  • You will identify staffing needs, continually managing engagement and welfare needs.
  • You should achieve your own sales targets whilst driving your team to achieve their individual targets.
  • You will need strong communication skills and display an "open door" persona.
  • You will be strong with figures and able to stay on top of the branch's sales and targets.
  • You will have an enthusiastic and positive outlook, and be committed to the growth of the business
  • You will take a keen interest in the development of colleagues to maximise job satisfaction, performance, and talent succession.
  • You will ensure that both yourself and the wider team demonstrate company values.
  • You will manage poor individual sales performance through regular monthly reviews.
